Padlet is an ideal tool to activate prior knowledge. Ask your class a question and let the students brainstorm. With Padlet you can create a virtual notice board on your laptop. You set up this notice board with a background and a main question or proposition. Then you show this notice board (the Wall or the Padlet) on the digital whiteboard. Students go to the Padlet site and answer the question on their laptop, smartphone or tablet.
